I’ve got to say, Pastor Laurie handled the situation in such a Christ-like manner. Official Statement from STRYPER Regarding Band Member Oz Fox
Sunday, August 12, 2018 — News began circulating this morning that Stryper’s Oz Fox suffered a medical emergency on stage in Las Vegas overnight. In order to provide accurate information and dispel any rumors, the band has issued an official statement:
Our dear friend and lead-guitarist Oz Fox fell ill Saturday night while performing in Las Vegas with a side project that he sometimes plays in when not touring with Stryper. Oz suffered a seizure causing a fall on stage. After performing an MRI, doctors discovered an area of concern near his brain which they are now running a biopsy on. The doctors have instructed him not to drive or fly for 90 days. No additional information is available at this time. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers and we will communicate additional information as it becomes available.
The logistics and options for current tour dates are being discussed with the respective promoters. U.S. tour dates will play as scheduled and in anticipation of a full recovery will include Oz Fox. The upcoming Australian tour will be performed as a trio (with the blessing of Oz), and will include Michael Sweet, Robert Sweet, and Perry Richardson. For our fans in Japan, please await an announcement from the concert promoter there as to the plans for the Japan tour.

The Filmmakers Behind Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions’ Faith-Based Hit “I Can Only Imagine” To Create Films and TV Series for Lionsgate

Significantly expanding its footprint in the growing faith-based market, global content leader Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B) has signed a multi-platform film and television first-look deal with Andrew and Jon Erwin and producing partner Kevin Downes, the filmmaking team behind this year’s box office hit I Can Only Imagine, which was released by Lionsgate and sister company Roadside Attractions. The announcement was made today by Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chairman Joe Drake and Television Group Chairman Kevin Beggs.
As part of the multi-year agreement, the Erwin Brothers and Downes will develop, produce and direct feature films and television programming for the Company under their newly- created Kingdom banner. The deal follows Lionsgate’s breakout successes in the faith-based community, which include the double Oscar® winner Hacksaw Ridge, The Shack, and most recently, I Can Only Imagine, the highest grossing movie in Roadside’s history.
The Erwin Brothers are one of only a handful of directors to have received a rare A+ CinemaScore twice, having accomplished the feat on I Can Only Imagine and Woodlawn. Downes and the Erwins have been building their brand in the rapidly growing inspirational faith-based family market, having collaborated on three films in the last five years that have all opened in the top 10 movies in America. The Erwins have also directed numerous acclaimed documentaries and music videos, and Downes, a 20- year industry veteran, has produced 15 features.

The final time we had them on in March of 2013, Ed Boston traveled to Franklin, TN to do a live interview with all three of the sisters in the group just before they went on stage for the last time. Everlife could collaborate on one more project. This according to a post on the official EverlifeFacebook page on Saturday. The group who gained popularity in the early 2000’s which included an association with Disney released their final project “At The End of Everything” in 2013.
Everlife contributed to many Disney projects including providing the title track for the Disney Channel Original Movie “Go Figure”which was released in 2005 in addition to several successful pop hits including “I Could Get Used to This”.

The human remains returned to the U.S. by North Korea last week are “consistent with being Americans,” according to an official who saw the contents of the 55 boxes.
It’s too early to know how many people are inside the boxes, John E. Byrd, a government scientist who oversees the laboratory examining the remains, told reporters Thursday.
One dog tag from a U.S. Army soldier was among the recovered equipment, and two sons of the deceased soldier will receive the dog tag next week.
Most of the remains returned to the U.S. were from the village of Sinheung Ri, near the Chosin Reservoir. The site hosted a famous battle fought from November to December of 1950 during the Korean War.
Byrd added that of all the possibilities, what surprised him most “was the great care that the North Koreans, the KPA, soldiers took in packaging and preparing those remains to be handed over to us.”
“They had been very carefully packaged with padding and packaging that was done to, I think, a very high standard,” he said.
‘A Core Principle from the Beginning of Our Country’: Sessions Launches Religious Freedom Task Force
CBN News is reporting that the Trump administration has made protecting and advancing religious freedom a top priority, and on Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the Justice Department’s new Religious Freedom Task Force.
The announcement came at the DOJ’s religious liberty summit.
“Freedom of religion has been a core American principle from the very beginning of our country. Indeed, it is our first freedom,” said Sessions. “President Trump promised that he would make preserving and protecting our religious liberty the first priority of his administration. The Department of Justice is committed to assisting with that effort.”
On social media yesterday, we teased this announcement and even gave a big hint later on when we posted a video of an interview done by Judge Jeanine Pirro with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Judge Jeanine Pirro is the highly respected District Attorney and County Judge, politician, legal commentator, author, champion of victim’s rights and mother of two. She won a Daytime Emmy for her daily syndicated court show “Judge Pirro.” Currently, Pirro hosts Fox News Channel’s “Justice with Judge Jeanine“. As a result of her high profile prosecutions and her political career, Pirro is a familiar face to New Yorkers.
Pirro’s notable legal career spans over 30 years. In 1975, Pirro became an Assistant District Attorney for Westchester County, New York and was the first female to prosecute a murder case there. As a sought-after speaker, Pirro has lectured throughout the country including at the FBI Academy at Quantico, National District Attorneys Association and the US Army War College, as well as various law schools and colleges nationwide. Pirro has been profiled in several magazines including the New Yorker, the New York Times Magazine, More Magazine, New York Magazine and was even named as one of the world’s 50 Most Beautiful People by People Magazine.
