Statement on Transition of Power

Tomorrow at noon, a new administration takes control of the Executive Branch of our Federal Government. Both administrations are loved and hated by significant segments of our population. That is not a new issue and we must get past the thoughts that our lives will be so much better or worse due to who occupies the White House.

As a Christian leader, I ask that Americans do what is right, and allow for this peaceful transition of government. Please Americans, threats of violence in Washington D.C. as well as State Capitals around the country need not be how we proceed. The fringe elements of both sides of the political spectrum do not represent the huge majority of our country. Do not let them define who we are or what we will become.

When it comes to who is or is not your President, that really does not matter. The fact is that Donald Trump has been THE President of the United States of America for the last four years, and at noon on January 20th, 2021 Joe Biden will become THE President of the United States of America.

That being said, I have preached since the election in November that and will continue to preach that, “God is in still in control – so Do The Right Thing”. May we all follow the teachings of the God of the Bible and His Word as we make this transition. May the love of Jesus Christ guide our paths.

Ministry Statement on Election Results

I am a Donald Trump supporter.

I support him taking the legal route to verify the election results.

The left has spent the last 4 years saying the 2016 election was stolen. The official decision by the Electoral College isn’t until December 14th so the entire country can wait until then to get the certified results. Neither the news media, nor anyone other than the Electoral College can call a certified winner.

When the Electoral College has finished their job, I support the outcome of those results and expect a peaceful transition of power should the current results stand.

In the meantime, I support the act of peaceful demonstrations, either in protest or celebration.

However, I do not and will not condone violence, looting, arson, or disrespect for law enforcement. Public demonstrations are part of our 1st Amendment rights, the other things I mentioned are against the law and not part of the 1st Amendment protections.

This will be my only post or comment here about this topic until December 14th.

In the meantime, God is in control…. so, Do The Right Thing!

Below, are my last 2 sermons that fit right in with this topic. The Saturday before the election was “No Matter Who Wins – God is Still in Control. Then the Saturday after the election was “So….Do The Right Thing”.

Contact Your Senators on Behalf Of Judge Amy Coney Barrett

I got the following email today, and believe that this topic is too important not to share with you. – Pastor Ed

Hi Ed,

I need you to take action right away…

Today, the U.S. Senate will begin hearings on confirming Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

As you may know, if confirmed, Judge Barrett could be the deciding vote on the court when it comes to possibly overturning the disastrous Roe v. Wade decision.

With Judge Barrett’s impressive legal credentials and judicial track record, and her acknowledgment of the medical and scientific fact that life begins at conception, we have good reasons to trust that she will lend her qualifications to the work of justice – on Roe v. Wade and beyond.

Ed, that’s why I am reaching out to you – will you join me in contacting your U.S. Senators today to urge them to vote to confirm Judge Barrett to the Supreme Court?

With the confirmation vote in the U.S. Senate promising to be an intense fight, it is critical that we let our senators know that they must swiftly confirm Amy to the Supreme Court.

With Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry doing everything to stop Judge Barrett from being confirmed, we must take action NOW!

Ed, your action today can make a critical difference. Every person who you can also get to take action will make a difference.

When you click below, here are two things you can do:

  • Email your U.S. Senators
  • Call your U.S. Senators

A quick note: when you select this option, you will receive a phone call from 571-475-9275 that will directly patch you through to your state’s senators. Simply follow the prompts!

We’ve provided a pre-filled e-mail and a phone script to make it easy for you to directly contact both of your senators.

Ed, you can contact your U.S. Senators to urge them to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court here:

Ric Grenell Says Twitter is Censoring Conservatives in Logan Sekulow ReProgram Exclusive, Vows Not to Let It Go

Ric Grenell Says Twitter is Censoring Conservatives in Logan Sekulow ReProgram Exclusive, Vows Not to Let It Go
In an exclusive interview with The Logan Sekulow ReProgram, Ric Grenell shares that he was locked out of his Twitter account earlier this week after posting a completely valid mail-in ballot concern. Joining the show in-studio, the former Acting Director of National Intelligence explains what led to the account suspension, how President Trump got involved, and the status of his account as of today.

The new interview was released today. Watch now: https://youtu.be/ylPV_BnKQeY

“They have these community policing people freezing you out, or knocking your content, or putting warnings on your content, and then when you have an appeal, there’s no appeal,” said Grenell. “This is like China, honestly. Businesses in China have the same issue. Here’s the directive, there’s no one to call, there’s no appeals process. You have to just deal with what we say.”

Grenell goes on to explain how it took President Trump and a member of the media to get his account issue resolved, at least for the time being.

“I’m not gonna let it go,” said Grenell. “I want Twitter to be accountable so that when you get locked out there’s any appeals process and an actual person you can call.”

Grenell was a member of President Donald J. Trump’s Cabinet, advising the President directly and regularly while serving as Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) in 2020. Previously, Grenell served as the U.S. Ambassador to Germany from 2018 to 2020, and as a U.S. State Department spokesperson to the United Nations under four different U.S. ambassadors during the George W. Bush administration. In August of this year, Grenell joined The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) as Special Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy.

How One Church Is Responding to New Shut Down Orders

Pastor John MacArthur of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California explained why that church followed the shut down orders the first time, but will not be doing so this time around. Here is part of what Pastor MacArthur had to say and you can click here to read the entire article from Christian Leaders website

Last week, John MacArthur and Grace Community Church, which is located in Sun Valley California, announced they would not be adhering to California Governor Gavin Newsom’s second round of closure orders. In his announcement, “Christ, not Caesar, Is Head of the Church”, MacArthur informed civic leaders that they had exceeded their legitimate jurisdiction, and that “faithfulness to Christ prohibits us from the restrictions they want to impose on our corporate worship services.”

Why Didn’t Grace Community Stay Open The First Time?

MacArthur addressed a question the church leadership has been asked a lot: “Why didn’t you do this at the beginning?” (IE: Defy the first stay-at-home order). He said, “We didn’t know the extent of the disease. We were told millions were going to die.” They were being protective because that was the sensible and rational thing to do given what everyone was being told about the coronavirus. “As time went on we found out that the virus wasn’t as deadly as predicted, and the commands not to assemble didn’t apply to protesters and riots.”

Our first and most important calling is to minister the gospel and that always will be the focus. While some of you may disagree with the views of Amy and I we welcome you in the name of Jesus and understand that our constitution allows for different viewpoints. We just ask for respect and decency.

Trump’s D-Day Speech Gets Rave Reviews, Even From His Critics

President Trump gave an outstanding speech commemorating the 75 anniversary of D-day at the location where that invasion took place. Below, watch the President’s entire speech, Below that, read the positive remarks from two of the biggest critics of our President,  Jim Acosta and Joe Scarborough

Acosta:

“[…] I mean, that could not be more of a fact check true if we could have found one. It really was one of those moments that, I think, Donald Trump needed to rise to in order to, I think, walk away from the cemetery, walk away from this hallowed ground and have people back at home saying, ‘You know what, no matter what I think about the current president of the United States, he said the right thing at Normandy. He did the right thing at Normandy.’”

Scarborough:

“There was one especially beautiful moment and I loved the thought because – any World War II documentary you see, any Vietnam documentary you see, when the interviewer starts talking about them being heroes, they will tear up and they will say ‘the heroes were the ones that never came back.’ Well, President Trump said that that’s what these heroes were saying. The heroes were the ones buried here behind us. Yet, he went on to say — to talk about the remarkable life that was created by this generation.”
