Need Prayer? Here’s How to Request on Ed Boston Ministries

A few days ago, we announced the creation of Ed Boston Ministries. You can read that announcement at this link: https://edboston.com/2019/04/21/announcing-ed-boston-ministries/.

One of the things mentioned in the announcement is a brand new focus on Prayer, receiving Prayer Requests and sharing Prayer issues.

Here is our next step in putting a heavy emphasis on the topic of Prayer. Click this link https://app.letsgroopit.com/EdBostonMinistries

and here is a place to request prayer, give encouragement to those who have already made requests, and share with others who may need special prayers or who are already Prayer Warriors.

Help Amy and I  spread the message of the power of prayer.

Announcing Ed Boston Ministries

We would like to introduce you to Ed Boston Ministries. We aren’t changing things, we’re just adding to what we already do. EdBoston.com will continue to be the hub for everything we do, and the Ed Boston Podcast will still be up and running as it has been since 2008.

So what is Ed Boston Ministries and what is different than what we have done up to now?

Here are several things that will be part of Ed Boston Ministries:

  • EdBostonMinistries.com website will be up and running very soon.
  • There will be weekly sermons (some new and some throwback from the past).
  • A brand new 24/7 RADIO STATION playing Christian Music along with sharing Sermons and Podcasts from our ministry sites.
  • The radio station link which for now will be Ed Boston Radio and which is now live is:   http://listen.samcloud.com/w/93506/Ed-Boston-Radio-Network#history
  • There will be a place on EdBostonMinistries.com for you to contact us about having Pastor Ed come and speak for your event or Church service for one day or multiple services.
  • A brand new focus on Prayer, receiving Prayer Requests and sharing Prayer issues.
  • There will be opportunities to contribute to our ministry efforts. As we expand what we are doing, additional expenses are involved. The ministry has no source of income other than what we put into it. If we are to grow the way we believe God is leading us, then we are going to need the financial help of those who support us.
  • We will continue to publish interview podcasts, and we will also be adding additional podcasts on Biblical Topics.

Please be praying for Pastor Ed and Amy as they follow the call that God has placed upon them.

Merry Christmas from The Ed Boston Podcast

Amy and I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Our family, friends, and followers are the reason we do this ministry, and we want to remind each of you why we celebrate Christmas.

First, here is the link to our Christmas Special 2018, and then below is the real reason for the season, from Luke Chapter 2.

Merry Christmas to all,

Pastor Ed Boston

Luke 2

The Birth of Jesus

In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to their own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

21 On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he was conceived.
