Friend of the Podcast – Brennley Brown to Debut at the Grand Ole Opry: A Testament to Faith and Talent

As a pastor and host of a Christian podcast, I have had the distinct honor of speaking with many talented and inspiring individuals. One such person who has left a profound impact on me and countless others is Brennley Brown. It is with great joy and pride that I share the exciting news that Brennley will be making her debut at the Grand Ole Opry next month!

Click here to see how Brennley was surprised by none other than Dolly Parton breaking the big news.

For those of you who have followed Brennley’s journey, you know that her path to this prestigious stage has been paved with unwavering faith, dedication, and an incredible gift for music. From a young age, Brennley’s talent was evident, but it was her steadfast faith and commitment to using her gifts for God’s glory that truly set her apart.

I first met Brennley when she graciously agreed to be a guest on my podcast. We spoke at length about her upbringing, her deep-rooted faith, and her dreams of sharing her music with the world. What struck me most was her humility and her profound understanding that her talent was a gift from God, meant to be used to inspire and uplift others.

As Brennley prepares to step onto the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, she does so not just as a performer, but as a beacon of hope and a testament to what can be achieved when we place our trust in the Lord. Her journey has not been without challenges, but through it all, she has remained grounded in her faith, allowing it to guide her every step of the way.

The Grand Ole Opry, often referred to as the home of American music, is a place where legends are born and celebrated. For Brennley to be given this opportunity is a testament to her hard work, her exceptional talent, and the impact she has already made in the world of country music. More importantly, it is a reflection of the light she brings to everything she does, a light that shines brightly for all to see.

In our conversations, Brennley often spoke about her desire to touch hearts and change lives through her music. As she stands on that iconic stage, I have no doubt that she will do just that. Her voice, filled with emotion and conviction, will resonate with every person in the audience, reminding them of the power of faith and the beauty of following one’s God-given calling.

As a community, let us join together in celebrating this incredible milestone in Brennley’s career. Let us lift her up in prayer, asking for God’s continued blessings upon her life and her music. And let us be inspired by her example, knowing that with faith, perseverance, and a heart dedicated to serving the Lord, all things are possible.

Brennley, we are so proud of you. Your debut at the Grand Ole Opry is just the beginning of the many great things God has in store for you. May you continue to shine His light wherever you go, touching hearts and changing lives with every note you sing.

God bless you, Brennley, and congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

Faith, Miracles, and Music: Brennley Brown’s “Miracle Story”

I’ve had the privilege of interviewing Brennley Brown in the past about her faith, and her radiant spirit has always left a lasting impression. Her incredible talent was evident from her time on “The Voice,” but it’s her unwavering trust in God that truly inspires me. Now, with her new single “Miracle Story,” she’s beautifully blending her musical gifts and her sincere belief.

“Miracle Story” speaks to God’s constant presence even when we struggle to see His plan unfolding. It’s a song of hope, a reminder that He can turn even difficult circumstances into miracles. I remember our conversation where Brennley shared how her faith sustained her through life’s challenges. This song echoes that resilience, that trust in God’s greater vision.

Musically, “Miracle Story” draws on Brennley’s love for classic country storytelling, weaving it with a heartfelt Gospel spirit. It’s so encouraging to see a young artist so unashamed to let her faith guide her work.

I’m excited to see where Brennley’s musical journey leads her. If “Miracle Story” is any indication, we can expect many more soul-stirring songs that inspire us and point us back to God’s goodness.

Friends of the Podcast are folks who have been interviewed by Pastor Ed Boston and appeared on an episode of The Ed Boston Podcast. We like to keep track of our “Friends”. This press release includes both John Schneider and Victoria Jackson

Jingle Smells’ Dashing All the Way to One Day Early!!!

Due to overwhelming audience demand, Rumble has released the new family comedy Jingle Smells a day early. Their first feature film starring John Schneider, Eric Roberts and Ben Davies with executive producers Logan Sekulow and Sean Hannity, is the first non-documentary film to premiere exclusively on the Rumble platform. Originally set for release on Thanksgiving Day, the early release was announced today on The Sean Hannity Show.

This family-friendly holiday film’s all-star cast includes John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville), Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, The Expendables), and Ben Davies (Courageous, War Room).

“It’s not often that someone comes up with a whole new angle on a Christmas movie, Jingle Smells is exactly that. A breath of cool, fresh air!” – John Schneider

The film features war vet Nick Gutman (Ben Davies) who is forced to take a job with his dad’s (John Schneider) quirky garbage men buddies, who are hired to conduct a wild secret mission — destroying perfectly good toys by Christmas Eve. These popular toys were pulled from the shelf after the film star (James Storm) they are based on is “canceled” for his patriotic views. Instead of destroying them, Nick takes on the secret identity Jingle Smells and becomes a Robin Hood of the Holidays.

Jingle Smells also stars Jim Breuer (Saturday Night Live), Victoria Jackson (Saturday Night Live), Dylan Postl (WWE), Brad Stine, James Storm, Jaclyn Stapp, Sean Hannity and features a special appearance by the Jay Sekulow Band and a special voice appearance by Gov. Mike Huckabee.

“We’re breaking away from mainstream Hollywood and doing something totally different, Jingle Smells is a hilarious and heartwarming story filled with a great message and void of all the crazy agendas being presented by those other entertainment platforms. Jingle Smells is a movie that your entire family can enjoy together this Christmas season.” – Sean Hannity

“We are thrilled to further expand our pay-per-view with the first feature movie launching on the platform, in partnership with Logan Sekulow and Sean Hannity, we are excited to see a significant turnout of viewers for this Christmas movie event.” – Rumble CEO & Chairman Chris Pavlovski

Jingle Smells hails from ACLJ Films in association with Laugh-O-Gram Studios, Logan Sekulow Originals and Keystone Films. Daniel Lusko directed from a script by Bart Scott and Logan Sekulow.

Viewers can stream the movie for $19.99 at JingleSmells.movie.

Unsung Hero: A Tale of Faith, Family, and Music

As a pastor deeply invested in stories that uplift the spirit and celebrate faith, I am thrilled to share my thoughts on the recently released trailer for the upcoming movie Unsung Hero, due in theaters April 26, 2024. This film, a dramatic true story of an immigrant family’s journey and their remarkable contribution to inspirational music, resonates with the values we cherish in our community.

Unsung Hero tells the heartfelt story of David Smallbone’s family. When David’s successful music company in Australia collapses, he, along with his pregnant wife, Helen, portrayed by Joel Smallbone and Daisy Betts respectively, move their family to the United States in search of a brighter future. With nothing but their seven children, suitcases, and an unwavering love for music, they set out to rebuild their lives. This narrative is not just about overcoming adversity; it’s a testament to the power of faith and family.

The trailer, released this week, offers a poignant glimpse into the struggles of the Smallbone family before they rose to fame in the Christian music industry. It showcases the cultural and financial challenges they faced and the resilience that Helen, the family’s matriarch, instilled in them through her unwavering faith. This faith was the cornerstone that kept the family strong and united through various trials, ultimately leading to the discovery of the children’s musical talents.

Joel Smallbone, a member of the five-time Grammy Award-winning group for KING + COUNTRY, not only plays his father in the film but also co-writes and directs it alongside Richard Ramsey. This film is a collaborative effort with Kingdom Story Company, the team behind Jesus Revolution, and Candy Rock Entertainment, owned by Candace Cameron Bure.

As a pastor, I am always on the lookout for stories that inspire and uplift. Unsung Hero seems to embody these qualities, offering a narrative rich in faith, hope, and the unbreakable bonds of family. It’s a story that promises to touch hearts and reinforce the belief that even in the darkest times, faith can light the way.

I eagerly await the opportunity to share more about this film as its release date approaches. For now, let’s cherish the anticipation and the powerful message this trailer has already begun to convey. Stay tuned for more updates on Unsung Hero, a film that is sure to leave an indelible mark on our hearts and our faith.

WallBuilders Celebrates an Anniversary and a Birthday

Join with friend of the ministry/podcast David Barton, founder and president of Wallbuilders, to celebrate both the birthday of the US Army and Flag Day.

https://wallbuilders.com/

Today is the anniversary of two significant days in American history: the birthday of the US Army, and Flag Day!

The Army was created by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1775. George Washington was elected Commander-in-Chief the next day and issued orders for the military, including one declaring: The blessings and protection of Heaven are at all times necessary…The General hopes and trusts that every officer and man will endeavor [to] live and act as becomes a Christian Soldier defending the dearest rights and liberties of his country.

The Army has continuously been recognized throughout American history. Such as by Frederick Douglass who reminded the nation: We must never forget that the loyal soldiers who rest beneath this sod flung themselves between the nation and the nation destroyers. [I]f the Star-Spangled Banner floats only over free American citizens in every quarter of the land…we are indebted to the unselfish devotion of the noble army who rest in these honored graves all around us.

General George Marshall also spoke about the United States’ mission during WWII:We are determined that before the sun sets on this terrible struggle, our flag will be recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom on the one hand and of overwhelming force on the other.

Flag Day commemorates June 14, 1777 when the Continental Congress passed a resolution establishing the look of the first national flag. The first Flag Day celebration occurred in 1885 as a school celebration in Wisconsin. The idea of honoring our flag spread across the country and President Woodrow Wilson eventually issued a 1916 presidential proclamation recognizing Flag Day. Since then, generations have continued to celebrate the American flag.

Today, let’s celebrate the American Army and all our military who so ably defend our flag, our God-given freedoms, and God-blessed nation!

Latest Email from Victor Marx and All Things Possible

Greetings,
We’re so thankful for all your prayers over the last few weeks as we are creating strategies and plans to help our brothers and sisters in Afghanistan.
We always want to keep you up to date on our work in the Middle East.
Here’s the latest:

  • We’re still supporting some nonstandard evacuation operations but are pushing most of them to Save Our Allies. They are equipped and ready to coordinate these types of efforts long-term.
  • The Common Operating Picture (COP) — We’re still focused on developing a central place for organizations like ours to coordinate manifests, resources and plans. Quiet Professionals and Echo Analytics Group are refining a product we hope will be the focal point for many of these disparate efforts. (We’re considering repurposing the COP to counter sex trafficking and/or the migrant problem.)
  • We’re still watching events in the Panjshir Valley to see if and when humanitarian help will be allowed in.
  • We’re exploring other organizations to be our long-term partner in resettling Afghan families. React.org is the leading group that we want to work with.

As always, we are asking for continued PRAYER for our team and in each of these areas.
We’re also grateful for any financial support you’re able to give as we continue this important work.

When you GIVE to our programs, here’s where your support is going:

  • There are a handful of Afghan families we’re directly funding. Most are family members of ATP friends and others we happened to pair up with amid the chaos of the fall of Kabul.
  • We’re pushing money into Afghanistan to assist in hiding some Afghans being hunted by the Taliban. There aren’t many of these cases, but we’re helping them survive until other options are available.
  • ATP is providing lodging and food for hundreds of Afghans sitting at Mazer-e Sharif in northern Afghanistan as they await flights out. A few flights went out recently, but many more are needed soon.
  • With your support, we’re creating Lions and Lambs in Dari and Farsi to provide trauma relief to Afghan children scattered across the world. We ordered 35,000.
  • We’re connecting with various locations in the United States to see where we can assist the refugees.

This work is far from over, but we’re grateful for any monthly and one-time gifts you’re able to provide.

Would you partner with us today in supporting our work in Afghanistan and around the world? (Click on the picture and the donate section is at the bottom of that page. Pastor Ed)

As always, THANK YOU. We’re so grateful for your continued support as we seek to bring light and hope to some of the world’s darkest places.

Friend of the Ministry – Gretchen Keskeys Releases “20 Years”

Friend of the Ministry/Podcast, Gretchen Keskeys just dropped a new video named “20 Years” in remembrance of 9/11/2001. In a private message with Gretchen, she told me,

“I just pray it’s an encouragement to this country as we look back at that time at what our country can be when we are united”.

Gretchen Keskeys Remembers 9/11 with Heartfelt “20 Years” Single and Video
Christian music songstress Gretchen Keskeys pays tribute to the 20th anniversary of 9/11 with the heartfelt new single, “20 Years.” The music video, which she hand-curated, picking out and editing the content to match her vision, can be viewed now at her official YouTube channel. Watch the “20 Years” video here: https://youtu.be/WBMbicQfiHMGretchen was a young wife and mother to a one year-old when the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 took place. Rising early that day, she turned on the TV and sat down with a cup of coffee. Nothing could have prepared her for what she was about to see.”I had just turned on the news right as the second plane hit the South Tower,” she said. “Within minutes I was on the floor in tears crying out loud to God.”Her thoughts immediately went to her baby daughter and what this could mean for her. Would her husband, a firefighter, need to go into work (he did), and would he be in danger? And she watched in pure horror, agony and heartbreak as the videos began to come in of those in the towers trying to escape the flames. For every American, that day was traumatic. But up out of the ashes, something beautiful emerged in the days and weeks to come. Gretchen remembers, “There was a true and deep humbling that happened. We truly felt helpless. And God was our help and refuge. We WANTED to go to church. We found comfort and strength being near God and each other. We WANTED God to BLESS our nation. It was no longer about ‘me,’ it was about ‘us.’ And OUR nation. OUR country. We cared about each other and wanted to do everything we could to protect our nation.”  What we experienced in the aftermath of 9/11 was, as Gretchen calls it, “the most beautiful outpouring of love and patriotism and brotherly love and camaraderie that we have ever seen in this country.” We couldn’t thank our police and firefighters enough.  Throughout Gretchen’s life, when something has touched her heart, or broken it, she’s written about it. And 9/11 is no exception. For most Americans, it broke us in ways we could have never expected. As the chorus states…

And in the sadness there was beauty
A country bound as one in unity
That day back then our toughest test
But that was America at its best

Adds Gretchen, “I wrote this song with all of this on my heart as we remember the 20th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.”Gretchen’s upcoming fourth studio album, Her Faith, will be released this fall. Inspired in part by the trials and tribulations of 2020, and her own experience, Gretchen penned each song on the new project, which she says focuses on the hope of Christ and His help and strength to endure tough times.

About Gretchen Keskeys: Inspirational singer-songwriter Gretchen Keskeys released her third studio album, “Words of Truth” (Creative Soul Records), in 2019. She stormed onto the scene in 2016 with her debut album, “Walking in the Spirit,” and 2017’s follow up, “Pure Hope.” She’s appeared on Fox News Channel, and has made frequent appearances on Christian television programs nationwide. Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day

This email is from friend of the ministry/podcast, Victor Marx.

Hello Ed,

Did you know a pimp or trafficker makes up to $200,000 per child?

That increases to $500,000-$1,000,000 for women over 18.

Meanwhile, the global human trafficking industry generates approximately 150 billion dollars per year.
This ends now.
It’s time to restore people around the world who have been affected by trauma, and we are tracking down the cowards who have taken advantage of others in this way.

Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day. This is the perfect opportunity for us to STOP being afraid and start using our voices and resources to bring an end to this disgusting industry. Can we count on you to join us in this fight?
GIVE TODAY
Here at All Things Possible, we are ready to tackle this issue in 2021 through Operation R.O.A.R. (Recovery Outreach and Restoration)

Our goal is to hire a full-time intelligence professional to drive our counter-sex trafficking program. We also have a handful of military veterans ready to join the battle to rescue and reach vulnerable children. It’s time to see the restoration of families, minds and souls.

Will YOU help us put a STOP to human trafficking? Help support our work this #HumanTraffickingAwarenessDay below.

DONATE today.
It’s time for us to go on the hunt and we are ready to ROAR!
