Today is the anniversary of two significant days in American history: the birthday of the US Army, and Flag Day!

The Army was created by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1775. George Washington was elected Commander-in-Chief the next day and issued orders for the military, including one declaring: The blessings and protection of Heaven are at all times necessary…The General hopes and trusts that every officer and man will endeavor [to] live and act as becomes a Christian Soldier defending the dearest rights and liberties of his country.

The Army has continuously been recognized throughout American history. Such as by Frederick Douglass who reminded the nation: We must never forget that the loyal soldiers who rest beneath this sod flung themselves between the nation and the nation destroyers. [I]f the Star-Spangled Banner floats only over free American citizens in every quarter of the land…we are indebted to the unselfish devotion of the noble army who rest in these honored graves all around us.

General George Marshall also spoke about the United States’ mission during WWII:We are determined that before the sun sets on this terrible struggle, our flag will be recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom on the one hand and of overwhelming force on the other.

Flag Day commemorates June 14, 1777 when the Continental Congress passed a resolution establishing the look of the first national flag. The first Flag Day celebration occurred in 1885 as a school celebration in Wisconsin. The idea of honoring our flag spread across the country and President Woodrow Wilson eventually issued a 1916 presidential proclamation recognizing Flag Day. Since then, generations have continued to celebrate the American flag.

Today, let’s celebrate the American Army and all our military who so ably defend our flag, our God-given freedoms, and God-blessed nation!

It’s Time for Conservatives and Liberals to Find Things to Work on Together

Biblically speaking, we are very possibly living in the last days. With that being the case, don’t you think it’s time for Conservatives and Liberals to work together on issues that are for the betterment of the world and in particular the United States of America?

The 2 videos here show fitting examples of how people who disagree on many things (in the case of Hannity and Penn most things) can work together and get things done.

The Lord has been working on me about this – I can gripe and complain about issues that I 100% believe I am correct about, but instead of doing all the griping and complaining, why don’t I just wrap my arms around someone who needs Jesus as their personal Savior and show them real Christian love.

I love what Mike Pence says to the young man who asks him hypothetically what if one of your children came out as gay, how would you respond, what would you tell them? Pence says I would look them in the eye and tell them I love you.

CBN Reports: Senate and House Lawmakers Call for Investigation into Deaths of Five Aborted Late-Term Babies in DC

GOP lawmakers are calling on Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, Chief of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department Robert Contee, and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate reports of possible late-term abortions at a clinic in the nation’s capital.

Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) was joined by 17 Republican senators and five Republican House members in sending a letter demanding an investigation into the deaths.

The case centers on the discovery of the remains of five fully formed, potentially viable babies who were aborted.

Demand justice for the 5 babies slaughtered

Paul, I’ve been doing pro-life work for over 15 years, and the recent news out of D.C. has broken me all over again. 

After seeing an image of one of the five babies – a beautiful baby boy – nearly full-term, naked and dumped in a bucket as “medical waste,” possibly born alive and left to die… it is hard to comprehend the cruelty he endured. I keep thinking of my own two sons, especially my youngest, born just a few months ago. 

The pain is devastating. The abortionist responsible for their deaths is still at large and must be brought to justice to save future children. 

If you didn’t see my email last Friday or haven’t been aware otherwise… I’m referencing #JusticeForTheFive.  

The mangled bodies of babies were found by pro-life activists in Washington, D.C., labeled as “medical waste.”   

Update for you: The D.C. government is still refusing to take action to investigate the killing of these five innocent babies, some of whom may have been murdered in violation of state and federal law. Their inaction is inexcusable.  

We must do everything in our power to obtain #JusticeForTheFive and prevent abortionist Cesare Santangelo from killing more children. Crimes against children like these cannot be allowed to stand in our country.

Here are some talking points for you:

The Medical Examiner is currently in possession of the bodies of five children who may have been killed through illegal abortion. 

The Medical Examiner must perform a full autopsy and make his thorough report known so the public can understand what happened to these children. 

Doctors who have seen pictures of these kids conclude that there may have been violations of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act and the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. If true, these are serious federal crimes. 

Please ensure that after a full investigation of how these children died and if the abortionists violated federal laws, the babies be laid to rest with dignity and given a proper burial. 

Paul, your immediate action could make all the difference. 

The organization Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) confirmed in a press conference today that the bodies of the five infants were recovered from Curtis Bay Medical Waste Services outside Cesare Santangelo’s abortion facility in D.C. on March 25th when a driver gave the activists a box of aborted children set to be burned as medical waste. 

The bodies of murdered children are not medical waste. 

But it gets even worse… Curtis Bay’s website says it incinerates biomedical waste to turn it into “useful energy.”  

It’s absolutely horrifying to realize that precious babies are being killed and then burned and turned into electricity or other energy sources for homes and businesses. Every American must know these devastating actions are happening so we can wake up and end this real-life horror story.  We CANNOT let our country become a place where infanticide becomes normalized and where “doctors” can kill with impunity. 

We must work urgently to end abortion and make all violence against any innocent child, whether born or preborn, prohibited by law and firmly rejected by our culture.  

These five children deserve our collective mourning, they deserve swift justice, and they deserve a proper burial.

On Tuesday’s Boston Prayer and Share Hour, I said that I would look into some ways that followers of Ed Boston Ministries and others could assist in helping with the situation in Ukraine.

I’m sure there are many outstanding ministries and organizations doing remarkable things, but after doing some research I believe that my best recommendation is for the two organizations shown below, Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Blessing.

About Samaritan’s Purse: They have deployed a 30-bed Emergency Field Hospital to Ukraine. Phase 1 of our Tier 2 Emergency Field Hospital deployment began Friday, March 4.

Our DC-8 cargo plane based in Greensboro airlifted the initial stages of the field hospital along with Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) members, including doctors, nurses, and logistics and set-up personnel. Once the plane lands in Poland, the field hospital will then be transported overland to Ukraine where it will provide specialized trauma care to people impacted by the conflict.

The field hospital is equipped with an operating room (up to 15 surgeries per day), an ICU, an emergency room, a pharmacy, and it has its own water and sanitation system. As many as 100 patients a day can be seen at this hospital, and it will be operated by more than 50 staff (medical and non-medical). The situation on the ground is fluid and changing rapidly, but the hospital could be operational early next week.
