TobyMac – Love Broke Thru
My last two sermons have been Without Love We Are Nothing and Hate, Hate, And More Hate. I just watched this video for the first time and it fits what I was trying to get across in both sermons. You’ve got to watch the video and not just listen to the words of the song. Outstanding job TobyMac.
Gathering In DC In The Name of Jesus
Christians From All 50 States Praying in Nation’s Capital for ‘Spiritual Shift’ in America
WASHINGTON — Tens of thousands of Christians from every state in the U.S. have assembled on the National Mall this weekend to sing and worship in dozens of tents and pray for a “spiritual shift” in America.
America’s Tent of Meeting, is sponsored by Awaken the Dawn and several other partner organizations for the express purpose of focusing on Jesus and to pray for a nation in crisis. ATM began Friday night with a call to repentance on the main stage where an estimated 30,000 people were in attendance park police said, according to an and event organizer.
“I see Awaken the Dawn as part of a bigger story that God is telling,” said Michael Beardslee of Phoenix, Arizona, in an interview with The Christian Post outside the New Mexico prayer tent. Beardslee works for a nonprofit volunteer engagement agency and has just begun doctoral studies at Grand Canyon University.
“There is a story that the enemy is telling in our nation, and he likes a lot of attention and he gets the attention a lot of the time,” he said. But it’s God’s story that will prevail, he added.

Weekly Message: Hate, Hate, And More Hate
Matthew 24
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Statement on Hate Groups
The front page exposure that hate groups have been receiving is very troubling. Many people want to loudly condemn the groups that they despise, and then remain quiet about the ones that generate from their own side of the political isle.
We here at Ed Boston.com CONDEMN ALL HATE GROUPS. Whether it be white supremacists protesting in Charlottesville (or any place else for that matter), or antifa and their plans for mass uprising starting November the 4th, hate groups serve no useful purpose.
We fully support the 1st Amendment and the rights of all Americans to peacefully protest, but too many times the gatherings of hate groups do not fall into the category of peaceful – and that is just not acceptable.
Matthew chapter 5 verses 43 and 44 says, “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,”
As Christians, we need to pray for those who make up these hate groups, but we certainly shouldn’t sit idly by and say nothing and pretend that all is well. Stand up and let the Love of the Lord be heard – the hate groups have no problem making their beliefs publicly known.
