Jingle Smells’ Dashing All the Way to One Day Early!!!

Due to overwhelming audience demand, Rumble has released the new family comedy Jingle Smells a day early. Their first feature film starring John Schneider, Eric Roberts and Ben Davies with executive producers Logan Sekulow and Sean Hannity, is the first non-documentary film to premiere exclusively on the Rumble platform. Originally set for release on Thanksgiving Day, the early release was announced today on The Sean Hannity Show.

This family-friendly holiday film’s all-star cast includes John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville), Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, The Expendables), and Ben Davies (Courageous, War Room).

“It’s not often that someone comes up with a whole new angle on a Christmas movie, Jingle Smells is exactly that. A breath of cool, fresh air!” – John Schneider

The film features war vet Nick Gutman (Ben Davies) who is forced to take a job with his dad’s (John Schneider) quirky garbage men buddies, who are hired to conduct a wild secret mission — destroying perfectly good toys by Christmas Eve. These popular toys were pulled from the shelf after the film star (James Storm) they are based on is “canceled” for his patriotic views. Instead of destroying them, Nick takes on the secret identity Jingle Smells and becomes a Robin Hood of the Holidays.

Jingle Smells also stars Jim Breuer (Saturday Night Live), Victoria Jackson (Saturday Night Live), Dylan Postl (WWE), Brad Stine, James Storm, Jaclyn Stapp, Sean Hannity and features a special appearance by the Jay Sekulow Band and a special voice appearance by Gov. Mike Huckabee.

“We’re breaking away from mainstream Hollywood and doing something totally different, Jingle Smells is a hilarious and heartwarming story filled with a great message and void of all the crazy agendas being presented by those other entertainment platforms. Jingle Smells is a movie that your entire family can enjoy together this Christmas season.” – Sean Hannity

“We are thrilled to further expand our pay-per-view with the first feature movie launching on the platform, in partnership with Logan Sekulow and Sean Hannity, we are excited to see a significant turnout of viewers for this Christmas movie event.” – Rumble CEO & Chairman Chris Pavlovski

Jingle Smells hails from ACLJ Films in association with Laugh-O-Gram Studios, Logan Sekulow Originals and Keystone Films. Daniel Lusko directed from a script by Bart Scott and Logan Sekulow.

Viewers can stream the movie for $19.99 at JingleSmells.movie.

Unsung Hero: A Tale of Faith, Family, and Music

As a pastor deeply invested in stories that uplift the spirit and celebrate faith, I am thrilled to share my thoughts on the recently released trailer for the upcoming movie Unsung Hero, due in theaters April 26, 2024. This film, a dramatic true story of an immigrant family’s journey and their remarkable contribution to inspirational music, resonates with the values we cherish in our community.

Unsung Hero tells the heartfelt story of David Smallbone’s family. When David’s successful music company in Australia collapses, he, along with his pregnant wife, Helen, portrayed by Joel Smallbone and Daisy Betts respectively, move their family to the United States in search of a brighter future. With nothing but their seven children, suitcases, and an unwavering love for music, they set out to rebuild their lives. This narrative is not just about overcoming adversity; it’s a testament to the power of faith and family.

The trailer, released this week, offers a poignant glimpse into the struggles of the Smallbone family before they rose to fame in the Christian music industry. It showcases the cultural and financial challenges they faced and the resilience that Helen, the family’s matriarch, instilled in them through her unwavering faith. This faith was the cornerstone that kept the family strong and united through various trials, ultimately leading to the discovery of the children’s musical talents.

Joel Smallbone, a member of the five-time Grammy Award-winning group for KING + COUNTRY, not only plays his father in the film but also co-writes and directs it alongside Richard Ramsey. This film is a collaborative effort with Kingdom Story Company, the team behind Jesus Revolution, and Candy Rock Entertainment, owned by Candace Cameron Bure.

As a pastor, I am always on the lookout for stories that inspire and uplift. Unsung Hero seems to embody these qualities, offering a narrative rich in faith, hope, and the unbreakable bonds of family. It’s a story that promises to touch hearts and reinforce the belief that even in the darkest times, faith can light the way.

I eagerly await the opportunity to share more about this film as its release date approaches. For now, let’s cherish the anticipation and the powerful message this trailer has already begun to convey. Stay tuned for more updates on Unsung Hero, a film that is sure to leave an indelible mark on our hearts and our faith.

Brooke Ligertwood Premiere’s Nineveh (Live)

Lyrics:

Nineveh

Oh Nineveh

The Lord is turning toward you

Compassion or calamity

Will you heed the warning

Fall on your knees

Tear down your idols

When you choose surrender

You choose survival

Call on His Name

Turn from your violence

Out of the ashes

He will revive

You God have mercy

God have mercy

I know You are a gracious God

I know You’re slow to anger

But I misunderstood Your love

Forgive me God for running

You sent a wind

Stirred up the ocean

Still I rebelled

My heart wasn’t open

But when I prayed

You were there waiting

I made a vow

To speak Your salvation

Nineveh

Oh Nineveh

The Lord is turning toward you

Holy Spirit help me see

Where there is Nineveh in me

Turn away

Your wrath once more

God have mercy

Perfect prophet, priest, and King

Christ became the reckoning

In His body bore my sin

Now to all who trust in Him

God has mercy

God have mercy on us

Nineveh

Oh Nineveh

The Lord is turning toward you

Pastor Ed Boston Interviews Michael Feighan

Multi-talented Michael Feighan to Release Solo Project Someone Prayed Oct. 15, 2021; First Single “I Still Believe” Available Aug. 27, 2021

July 30, 2021 (Crystal Beach, Texas) — Notable artist/drummer/songwriter, Michael Feighan, will release his solo project, Someone Prayed, on Oct. 15, 2021. Besides delivering great vocals and music, Feighan has assembled an incredible team for the project. Matt Bissonette (Elton John, Ringo Starr) joined as producer for Someone Prayed, while his brother, Gregg Bissonette (Ringo Starr), added his drumming expertise for the EP and five-time Grammy® Award-winning engineer, Chris Lord-Alge (Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner, Tim McGraw) brings his talent to the mix. The project will be released through Label Logic, with distribution being handled by Ingrooves.

The first single, “I Still Believe,” will release on Aug. 27, 2021 and will be available on all digital outlets. It’s a patriotic song that honors our military during Labor Day, September 11th and any day that salutes our nation. The single was co-written by Michael and Matt Bissonette, and fulfills Michael and his dad’s, Chief Master Sargent Mike Feighan, love for our country.

“Working with Michael has been an amazing blessing in my life,” said Matt. “Our friends from Label Logic put us together and we began writing songs together. I knew Michael was a really good singer, and a great drummer as well, but was blown away at what an amazing performer he is in the studio. He really brought all the songs to another level and his lyric skills really made it easy to write the songs. But more important than that, he is a great human being with a desire to honor God in everything. God first, everything else follows. It’s a great motto and principle that humbled me and made me want to do the same. What an amazing honor it is to work with this blessed man.”

Someone Prayed is a four song EP, which includes the title track and “I Still Believe,” with two additional songs that were written for his wife and daughter. “Joy of Life” centers on the difficulties that his wife, Christie, faced during a rough period of time, and Michael’s musical message centered on the joy of Christ.  Jesus, give me the faith that will move every mountain/And teach me to trust You always/Father teach me Your ways that I want to be my ways/And give me the Joy of life today. “Before Time Began” is a loving message to his daughter, Tatiana, after Michael and Christie flew to Russia and brought their daughter home to Texas after her adoption.

“Writing with Matt on this project was a dream come true, and one of the songs we did together was especially rewarding,” said Feighan. “I had some previous lyrics that I had written about my daughter, Tatiana. My wife and I adopted her from Russia, and I thought it would be great to have Matt talk about his son in the second verse. He came up with the idea for the third verse that puts it all together, and how we are all God’s adopted children—and one day in heaven He will be looking back at us. This song came out very powerful!”

Michael’s high-profile career began when he joined the Christian metal band Whitecross, and he was ranked as of the top 10 drummers in Christian music. The group’s music grew around the world that included the states, South America and Europe, and led to three Dove Awards for recordings with Triumphant Return (1990), In The Kingdom (1992) and “Come Unto The Light” (1994).

Michael became an on-demand drummer that led to other opportunities outside of Whitecross. This included being signed to Star Song Music (1991-1993), R.E.X Music (1994-1995), Madison Line Records (2013), playing with Curious Fools on the Gotee label in 1997, performing with Oz Fox of Stryper and pop artist B.J. Thomas.

Friend of the Ministry – Gretchen Keskeys Releases “20 Years”

Friend of the Ministry/Podcast, Gretchen Keskeys just dropped a new video named “20 Years” in remembrance of 9/11/2001. In a private message with Gretchen, she told me,

“I just pray it’s an encouragement to this country as we look back at that time at what our country can be when we are united”.

Gretchen Keskeys Remembers 9/11 with Heartfelt “20 Years” Single and Video
Christian music songstress Gretchen Keskeys pays tribute to the 20th anniversary of 9/11 with the heartfelt new single, “20 Years.” The music video, which she hand-curated, picking out and editing the content to match her vision, can be viewed now at her official YouTube channel. Watch the “20 Years” video here: https://youtu.be/WBMbicQfiHMGretchen was a young wife and mother to a one year-old when the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 took place. Rising early that day, she turned on the TV and sat down with a cup of coffee. Nothing could have prepared her for what she was about to see.”I had just turned on the news right as the second plane hit the South Tower,” she said. “Within minutes I was on the floor in tears crying out loud to God.”Her thoughts immediately went to her baby daughter and what this could mean for her. Would her husband, a firefighter, need to go into work (he did), and would he be in danger? And she watched in pure horror, agony and heartbreak as the videos began to come in of those in the towers trying to escape the flames. For every American, that day was traumatic. But up out of the ashes, something beautiful emerged in the days and weeks to come. Gretchen remembers, “There was a true and deep humbling that happened. We truly felt helpless. And God was our help and refuge. We WANTED to go to church. We found comfort and strength being near God and each other. We WANTED God to BLESS our nation. It was no longer about ‘me,’ it was about ‘us.’ And OUR nation. OUR country. We cared about each other and wanted to do everything we could to protect our nation.”  What we experienced in the aftermath of 9/11 was, as Gretchen calls it, “the most beautiful outpouring of love and patriotism and brotherly love and camaraderie that we have ever seen in this country.” We couldn’t thank our police and firefighters enough.  Throughout Gretchen’s life, when something has touched her heart, or broken it, she’s written about it. And 9/11 is no exception. For most Americans, it broke us in ways we could have never expected. As the chorus states…

And in the sadness there was beauty
A country bound as one in unity
That day back then our toughest test
But that was America at its best

Adds Gretchen, “I wrote this song with all of this on my heart as we remember the 20th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.”Gretchen’s upcoming fourth studio album, Her Faith, will be released this fall. Inspired in part by the trials and tribulations of 2020, and her own experience, Gretchen penned each song on the new project, which she says focuses on the hope of Christ and His help and strength to endure tough times.
