Listen To All Of Hillsong Worship’s New Release

Here is the link to a recent podcast where I give my thoughts and read scripture as we share the music from Hillsong Worship’s latest release – There is More. I know you will enjoy.

———–

Hillsong Worship has released it’s latest album, There Is More. The following is from the Hillsong website:

In Genesis 32 we read the story of Jacob wrestling with God through the night. On the other side of Jacob’s divine encounter was a new name, a new blessing, a new identity and a new way of walking (literally). Will we be a worshipping people who are not content to sleep through the night (spiritually speaking) and wake in the morning unchanged? Like Jacob, will we enter into the wrestle with God, dare to know Him more intimately and be changed in the process?

This is the premise for Hillsong Worship’s 26th live praise and worship album. The title, “THERE IS MORE”, truly is a statement-of-belief more than a record title. As Brooke Ligertwood writes, “THERE IS MORE at stake than we dare realize – souls, communities, families, nations on the other side of our wrestle through the night seasons. Our personal freedom is for corporate revival. THERE IS MORE of God and more to God and His love than we can possibly conceive of.”

With songs such as, “Who You Say I Am”, “Be Still”, “The Passion” and “New Wine”, “THERE IS MORE” strikes the balance of contemplative devotion and powerful declarations of praise for both individuals and congregations alike.

The prophetic proclamation that “THERE IS MORE” is certainly a theme of Hillsong Church in 2018. Global Senior Pastor Brian Houston’s book and the annual Hillsong Conference carry the same name, “THERE IS MORE”.

Roadside Attractions/Lionsgate Film on I Can Only Imagine Release Today

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 16, 2018) – Roadside Attractions/Lionsgate Film’s I Can Only Imagine is off to a strong start with an estimated $1.3m in previews thru Thursday night at 1,392 locations. The film will play this weekend at 1,628 locations.  We will have additional information on the film’s performance on Sunday morning.

I Can Only Imagine is the fourth feature for the Erwin Brothers, whose previous films included October Baby, Moms’ Night Out and Woodlawn. The film was written by Jon Erwin & Brent McCorkle from a story by Jon Erwin & Brent McCorkle. I Can Only Imagine was produced by Kevin Downes, Cindy Bond, Daryl Lefever, Mickey Liddell, and Pete Shilaimon. Travis Mann, Tony Young, Scott Brickell and Simon Swart served as executive producers.

The film features an all-star cast including Golden-Globe® nominee Dennis Quaid (The Day After Tomorrow, The Rookie, Soul Surfer), Oscar®-winner Cloris Leachman (The Iron Giant, The Last Picture Show, Young Frankenstein), platinum-selling country music legend Trace Adkins, author and actress Priscilla Shirer (War Room), Madeline Carroll (Mr. Poppers Penguins) and Broadway’s J. Michael Finley (“Les Miserables”).

I Can Only Imagine brings to life the true story behind the song of ultimate hope, “I Can Only Imagine.” A transformed relationship with his troubled father inspired Bart Millard, the lead singer of the Christian band MercyMe, to write what is now the most-played radio single in Christian music history. A gripping reminder of the power of forgiveness,  I Can Only Imagine beautifully illustrates that no one is ever too far from God’s love — or from an eternal home in heaven.
