If you’re an Avril Lavigne fan then today is a fantastic day. In 2014 it was revealed that the singer-songwriter had been battling a severe case of Lyme disease, leaving many fans uncertain of what would happen next.
Recently in an open letter on her website Avril recalls a time early in her diagnoses where she felt that she was at death’s door, she didn’t want to die and had more to live for she cried out to God and thus Head Above Water was born.
God keep my head above water. Don’t let me drown it gets harder, I’ll meet you there at the alter as I fall down to my knees.
